A quinceañera brings faith, family and a big party into one day. Starting early keeps it joyful instead of rushed. Use this timeline as a guide and adjust it to your family’s traditions.
Twelve months out
Agree a budget and a rough guest count. Choose two or three possible dates, then book the church for the misa and the venue for the reception. Saturdays in spring and summer go first.
Nine months out
Choose the court of damas and chambelanes. Start looking at dresses, since many take months to arrive. Book the photographer and videographer.
Six months out
Book the DJ or band, the decorator and the caterer. Design the invitations. Start waltz lessons with the court so the dance feels easy by the big day.
Three months out
Send invitations. Order the cake. Plan the surprise dance. Gather the pieces for the traditions your family keeps, such as the change of shoes, the crowning and the last doll.
One month out
Final dress fitting. Confirm every vendor’s arrival time. Make the seating plan and share the running order of the night with the venue manager.
A sample evening at the hall
Decorators arrive in the early afternoon. Doors open at six. The grand entrance and the waltz with her father follow, then the court’s waltz, the toast and dinner. The surprise dance opens the dance floor until the end of the night. Our Celebrate package gives you eleven hours with linens, uplighting, a dance floor and a security officer, enough for the setup and a full party.
